COVER PACKING ASSEMBLY FOR HARD DISK APPARATUS USE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To provide a method wherein a cover packing assembly can be manufactured easily at low costs and to provide the cover packing assembly, for hard disk apparatus use, which is obtained in this manner. CONSTITUTION:A cover packing assembly for hard disk apparatus use executes a packing in the prescribed position of a cover for hard disk apparatus. The packing is formed by hardening an addition-reaction hardening fluorocarbon siloxane composition. Its manufacturing method is as follows: the prescribed position of the cover for hard disk apparatus is coated with the addition-reaction hardening fluorocarbon siloxane composition by an FIPG method; it is hardened; and the packing is formed.
