摘要 |
The invention relates to a process for the manufacture of rare-earth metal sulphides consisting in bringing elemental sulphur into contact with a rare-earth metal compound containing oxygen and carbon in a carbon/oxygen atomic ratio greater than or equal to 0.6 at a temperature greater than 450@C, preferably between 450 and 700@C. The process according to the invention makes it possible to carry out the reaction under conditions compatible with an industrial operation and to avoid the formation of phases, especially oxysulphides, from side reactions.
