PURPOSE:To reduce the number of program steps and to shorten an diagnostic execution time by making it unnecessary to set up a register once setting up a diagnostic mode in the case of repeatedly executing a diagnostic program. CONSTITUTION:When the operation mode of a self-processor is changed to a diagnostic mode, a port control register 12 is set up, and at the time of initializing the whole self-processor, the register 12 is reset. A diganostic interface to be turned to an inabled state when the register 12 is in the set state is attained by an AND circuit 13. After initializing the whole self-processor, diagnostic data are applied from a maintenance diagnostic circuit to a diagnosed circuit through the diagnostic interface. When the self-processor is in the diagnostic mode, the reset of the register 12 is suppressed by an AND circuit 40. |
