PURPOSE:To make the system stable by making a transmission line to be duplicated with a wire and an optical fiber and providing a means backing up an optical signal and an electric signal mutually to the system so as to increase the mechanical strength with a light weight and to eliminate the effect of electromagnetic noise. CONSTITUTION:Units 1-3 are connected with duplicate transmission lines comprising a wire transmission line 4 and an optical fiber transmission line 5. Each unit is made up of an O/E converter 1-4 converting an optical signal into an electric signal, an E/O converter 1-5 converting the electric signal into an optical signal, adjustment devices 1-2, 1-3 having a function to select a signal and a control section 1-1. Then an adjustment device 1-2 selects a signal from transmission lines 4, 5 based on a command of the control section 1-1 and matches the level and an adjustment device 1-3 selects whether the transmission of the electric signal is to be sent to the converter 1-5 or the transmission line 4. Thus, light weight and thinned line are attained and the system is made stable. |
