PURPOSE:To reduce the height of a connector and generate connection with lessened gap between printed circuit boards to be connected with one another. CONSTITUTION:In a connector, a socket 2 is fitted on a header 1 so that a header side contact spring 3 installed on the outer side of the header is put in contacting connection with a socket side contact spring 4 installed on the inner side of the socket 2. The pressure fit part 5 of the header side contact spring 3 to be mounted on the header 1 is located at the top of the header 1, while the contacting connection part 3a to be connected with the socket side contact spring 4 is positioned at the bottom of the header 1. The contacting connection part 4a of the socket side contact spring 4 fitted in the socket 2 to be mounted on the header 1 is positioned at the bottom of the header 1 and connected with the contacting connection part 3a of the header side contact spring 3. |
