PURPOSE:To save the substrates of liq. crystal elements by a novel assembling method. CONSTITUTION:The upper substrate parts of each liq. crystal panel such as a counter substrate 14, a polarizing plate 13 and antirefleciton glass 11 are bonded and the resulting sections are inspected. Only good sections are washed and combined separately with the substrates 16 of liq. crystal elements. By this assembling method, the substrates 16 can be saved and liq. crystal panels suppressing surface refleciton and having high transmissivity and satisfactory reliability (moisture, heat and shock resistance) are produced at a reduced cost. |
