PURPOSE: To provide a compact optical fiber cable device capable of branching a stub or a drop cable from a branch point of a spliceless distribution cable and executing sufficiently enough mechanical and moisture-proof protection. CONSTITUTION: This device consists of an optical fiber guiding means 20, an optical fiber 74 arranged in the means 20 and a distribution cable 12 provided with a branched optical fiber 86. Out of the branched optical fiber 86, a 1st part between one end part coincident with the 1st end part of the cable 12 and the branch point 16 is arranged in the means 20, a 2nd part between the branch part 16 and the other end part is arranged on the outside of the means 20 and the 2nd part arranged on the outside of the means 20 is surrounded by a buffer means. |
