PURPOSE:To decrease the frequency of the key operation for patch selection and improve the operability, and to constitute the device at low cost by providing a 1st and a 2nd specific counter and a control means which generates a switch event. CONSTITUTION:A signal which is sent from a console panel 12 and indicates the ON/OFF state of a switch is sent to a CPU 14 through a panel interface 13 and a system bus 30. Further, a RAM 16 is provided with the 1st counter which starts counting when the contact of a switch means is broken and the 2nd counter which starts counting when the contact of the switch means is made or when the 1st counter reaches a specific value. Then when a patch number consists of a two-digit number, a patch select event is generated by inputting the numeral of the 1st digit by the elapse of a specific time and inputting the numeral of the 2nd digit by operation on a ten-key. |
