The method registers the time and repetition times of a function to remove the necessity of frequent registeration and cancellation. It is composed of three stages: the 1st stage for registering function, the 2nd stage for cancelling the registered function, and the 3rd stage for performing the registered function. The circuit for the method includes a volatile memory (30) for storing information, a switching circuit (50) for switching various tone and voice data, and a DTMF receiver (80) for applying the digit data corresponding to the MFC of an extension line to a microprocessor (10).
