PROCESS FOR PRODUCING LAMINATE FILM

A laminate of a liquid crystal polymer layer, a thermoplastic polymer layer bondable to the liquid crystal polymer layer and a thermoplastic polymer layer not bondable to the liquid crystal polymer layer is extruded through a die by means of a co-extruder molding machine in such a manner that the thermoplastic polymer layers sandwich the liquid crystal polymer layer, and the thermoplastic polymer layer not bondable to the liquid crystal polymer layer is separated from the liquid crystal polymer layer to thereby obtain a laminate film. The thermoplastic polymer layer bondable to the liquid crystal polymer layer is preferably formed of a modified polyolefin having functional groups incorporated therein or the like. The thermoplastic polymer layer not bondable to the liquid crystal polymer layer is preferably formed of an olefin polymer or a polyalkylene terephthalate.
