Proposed is equipment for vehicles fitted with anti-slip control by braking action, the equipment including a hydraulic pump (21, 22) but no hydraulic accumulator. The equipment comprises a sensor (SD) and/or a circuit for the determination of driving situations in which there is a tendency for the drive wheels to spin. For instance, the angular speed of the engine throttle-valve flap (28) is measured and analysed. Auxiliary-pressure generation is started up as soon as the signal representing the spin tendency exceeds a certain limit.
