PURPOSE:To make the constituent phase of an oxide simple and to facilitate the design of a thermistor material and the maintenance of the quality of the material. CONSTITUTION:The nitrates of Mo, Co and Ni are mixed in 3.0:1.9:1.1 molar ratio and calcined in a step 1. The resulting oxide is heated in the air to 1,000 deg., over 1hr and to 1,400 deg.C over 1hr in a step 2 and a single phase of a rock salt type oxide is formed by holding at 1,400 deg.C for 3 hr in a step 3. The oxide is rapidly cooled to ordinary temp. by putting in water in a step 4 and annealing is carried out at 1,000 deg.C in the air for 3 hr to obtain a single-phase spinel type oxide by further oxidation in a step 5. |
