PURPOSE:To provide the subject product composed of a blended resin consisting of an aromatic polyamide and a soluble resin, having opaque appearance by microscopic pares, turning to be transparent with pressure to enable the use as it is, having high heat-resistance and enabling the direct estimation of the contact between hot plates. CONSTITUTION:The objective product is an opaque film having a haze value of >=70%, containing microscopic pores and composed of a blended resin obtained by compounding (A) an aromatic polyamide with (B) a soluble resin (preferably polycarbonate) at a ratio to get a composition containing 5-90wt.% of the component A. The product is produced preferably by a wet process comprising the casting of a film-forming dope containing a polymer composed of the components A and B on a substrate and the introduction of the cast dope film together with the substrate into water used as a wet bath or the extrusion of a film from a die into water and the immediate drawing of the film in longitudinal direction. The component A is e.g. a reactional product of 3,4'-diaminodiphenyl ether and terephthaloyl chloride. |
