PURPOSE:To obtain a high shock resistivity force sensor optically detecting such dynamic forces as acceleration, vibration, pressure, etc. CONSTITUTION:A transparent object 2 having a nearly hemispherical or conelike shape is arranged free of swing on a reflector 3. Light 4 is cast on the transparent object 2 from the opposit side of the reflector 3 to cause interference fringes 5 (Newton ring) on the transparent object 2. If such dynamic forces as acceleration, vibration, pressure, etc., work on the transparent object 2 and the transparent object is inclined, the pattern or density of the interference fringes 5 changes. By detecting it with a light sensor and the like, pressure, acceleration, vibration, etc., can be detected. |
