<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paper feeding device of electrostatic sucking type which is capable of feeding each paper sheet in a timely and stable manner and needs no separating means, and capable of bringing the paper sheet near to or into contact with a dielectric endless belt surface respectively with some sectional area, and the paper feeding method using the device. CONSTITUTION:Eccentric rollers 10, 11 are held beforehand in such a position where the farthest circumferential part from eccentric shafts 10a, 110b is located atop, and when the eccentric shafts are rotated, the lower traveling side with a paper sheets bundle 2 is moved in the paper feeding direction and at the same time, it comes close to the paper sheets bundle 2 while the electric charge pattern being given onto the surface of a paper feeding belt 9, and the uppermost paper sheet 2a is electrostatically sucked to the paper feeding belt 9 by the sucking force generated by the electric charge pattern of the paper feeding belt 9. The uppermost paper sheet 2a sucked by the paper feeding belt 9 is fed downstream of the paper feeding direction by further rotation of the paper feeding belt 9.</p> |
