The invention concerns a flagpole made of transparent material and provided on the inside with lighting elements which are suspended from the upper end of the flagpole. To hold the lighting elements in place in the centre, the row of lighting elements is provided with groups of springs at intervals. A cylinder with text or images between the lighting elements and the flagpole wall projects information onto the illuminated flagpole, so that the flagpole also functions as an illuminated advertising sign. <IMAGE> |
