The present invention relates to a novel strain of lactic acid bacteria separated from Kimchi and a composition comprising the same and, more specifically, to Lactobacillus sakei DSR KF14 having antifungal and antimicrobial activities, to a composition comprising the same, and to antimicrobial uses of the composition. According to the present invention, Lactobacillus sakei DSR KF14 of lactic acid bacteria has antimicrobial activities and antifungal activities, and can be efficiently used for sterilizing, antimicrobial, and antiseptic purposes in various fields such as a food, a feed, a drug, a cosmetic product, etc. |
