<p>PURPOSE:To increase the kind of operations capable of recognition at a pointing device (an objective data input device) without requiring the burden on a user. CONSTITUTION:A pen operation storing means 1 inputs and stores pen input data 3 having information showing press, information showing release and information showing that a handwritten symbol is inputted within fixed time between press and release. When it is recognized based on the analysis of the pen input data 3 that the handwritten symbol decided in advance corresponding to the operation is inputted within the fixed time between press and release, a handwritten symbol recognizing means 2 outputs pen operation data 4 showing the operation corresponding to the handwritten symbol.</p> |
