PURPOSE:To miniaturize the circuit scale of an inhibition method by outputting the signals of a fault detection alarm output part and a fault detection part different from those of a byte area and a data area from an opposite station, and inhibiting alarm output from an alarm output part which is separately provided when the signals are detected. CONSTITUTION:The fault detection alarm output part 1 is provided on a multiplexed signal part, the fault detection part 4 on the input part of an exchange part which executes branching in a separation part 2 and exchange channels, and a detection alarm output part 5 against the byte area and the data area on the output part of the exchange part 3. When the circuit is constituted is such a manner and the fault is detected in the output part 1, the signal and the alarm for the areas are outputted from a path fault information transmission part 6 to the branched channel. When the detection part 4 detects the abnormality of the byte area, an insertion branching device is used and the alarm is outputted from the output part 5, and output from a first path fault information detection part 7 is set to an inhibition state. |
