<p>PURPOSE:To allow a subscriber's equipment itself to conduct a diagnostic test of the subscriber's equipment without affecting usual communication processing. CONSTITUTION:The equipment is provided with a transmission processing circuit 50 connecting to a point T to implement signal transmission processing, a reception processing circuit 51 connecting to the point T similarly to implement signal reception processing, a cable driver 52 to send a signal while being connected to the transmission processing circuit 50, a subscriber line transformer 53 having primary-ternary windings for implementing signal transmission reception with an intra-office equipment, a waveform equalization circuit 54 receiving a signal from a subscriber line side inputted through the subscriber line transformer 53, implementing equalizing processing to the effect of attenuation or reflection or the like for the signal line and giving the result to the reception processing circuit 51, and a transmission reception pattern identification circuit 55 comparing a transmission signal from the point T received from the transmission processing circuit 50 with a reception signal bypasses through the ternary winding of the subscriber line transformer 53 and inputted from the reception processing circuit 51.</p> |
