PURPOSE:To easily construct and change data base by recursively performing diagnostic in a data base flow chart in each choice by means of the follow-up of the numbers prescribing the connection of elements. CONSTITUTION:The contents of a flow chart is described in data base 20, and at the time of editing, an indication/editing means 19 indicates the flow chart on a display 17 and the contents of the data base 20 is changed with the input from a keyboard 23. The indication system of the flow chart uses a tree-type expression for the convenience in displaying on the display 17. Data are inputted from the keyboard 23 or a sensor or sequencer attached to an object device 24, and a diagnostic means 21 proceeds diagnosis, following the prescribed flow chart. That is, by numbering each elements of the flow chart recording the fault diagnostic procedure and following the numbers, the diagnosis of the signal on the data base flow chart prescribing the connection of each element can be recursively performed for each choice. |
