<p>PURPOSE:To provide the word processor which automatically sets format information such as a character size, line pitch and character pitch or the like from a document on a printing medium. CONSTITUTION:The document of a printing medium 1 is converted into image data and stored in an image storing means 3 by an image input means 2. The format information is extracted from the image data stored in this image storing means 3 by a format extracting means 4, and format data are prepared by a format preparing means 5. Therefore, the format data prepared by the format preparing means 5 are stored in a format storing means 6 and referred to as needed.</p> |
