The safety apparatus stops supplying electric power for the burners used for a hot water supplier or a room heater when detecting abnormal states in a sequential controller circuit. The safety apparatus comprises a control means transmitting a normal drive signal for the normal state in the burner, and a stop drive signal for an abnormal state in the burner; a drive means continuing or stopping the supply of the electric power corresponding to the control signal generated from the control means. The safety apparatus can be applied to an engine controller, a traffic control system, a machine tool controller, or an electric furnace controller.
