The mat consists of two separate sheets stitched round with each other at the edge, the top sheet of a pile fabric being a little larger than the bottom sheet of a card board to produce inflation on the inner portion within the stitching. On a selected position a hole cup is placed between the two sheets, the cup mouth opening through the top sheet to receive a golf ball and some tube pieces of an eliptical section being placed between the sheets to produce raised portions for an irregular configuration of the ground suitable for golf practice. While not in use for golf practice, the mat is used for floor carpeting with its laced edge portion presenting a good decoration. A separate piece of the mat may be employed at a distance from the main mat for placing a ball on it for practicing approach to the hole.
