PURPOSE:To provide a stereoscopic image under a proper image pickup condition by automatically correcting an optical axis deviation or the like generated in an optical system of an image pickup device. CONSTITUTION:In an image pickup condition setting part, the position signals 10a of respective driving parts for respective image pickup devices 1a, 1b are detected by position detecting parts 10 provided on the driving parts. Each position signal 10a is compared with a table type image pickup condition correcting value stored in a correcting data storing part 12. The photographing conditions of the devices 1a, 1b are corrected by a positional deviation correcting part 11 based upon the compared result. Consequently an optical axis deviation or a power difference generated in the optical system can be automatically corrected and an observer M can sense a proper stereoscopic image of an object O to be observed by a monitor television 7. |
