PURPOSE:To reduce frame thinning. CONSTITUTION:The direction and position of a TV camera 10 are changed by a movable carriage. A format conversion circuit 16 converts an output image from the camera 10 into a transmitting intermediate format. A resolution conversion circuit 18 reduces resolution outputted from the circuit 16 to 1/4 or 1/16. When the camera 10 is in a still state, a switch 22 is connected to a contact (a) and a switch 38 is closed, and at the time of moving the camera 10, the switch 22 is connected to a contact (b) and the switch 38 is opened. In the still state of the camera 10, an image photographed by the camera 10 is processed by intra-frame and inter-frame compression through circuits 20 to 38. In the moving state of the camera 10, the image photographed by the camera 10 is converted into low resolution by the circuit 18 at first, and then its intra- frame compression is executed by circuits 24, 26. |
