PURPOSE:To attain the high speed retrieval of a medical picture by storing altogether each medical diagnostic picture in each picture device by which it is picked-up, and displaying the picture corresponding to the specification the medical diagnostic picture device for a patient. CONSTITUTION:Files managed by an operating system are present on a recording medium 1, and CT picture data are stored in files 2A-2C. That is, a file 2 is a directory file in which the names of the files 2A-2C are stored, and the stored file name of the CT picture is judged by checking the file 2. In the same way, MR picture data are stored in files 3A and 3B, and a file 3 is the directory file in which the names of the files 3A and 3B are stored. Moreover, DR picture data are stored in a file 4A, and the name of the file 4A is stored in a file 4. Therefore, the medical diagnostic picture is read out of a storage device and displayed, corresponding to the specification of the photographing device. |
