PURPOSE:To add a destination at an optional point of time after the start of a travel in a course guiding mode through an easy operation in a short course searching processing time. CONSTITUTION:When the new destination is additionally inputted on a console panel 2 after the start of the travel in the course guiding mode, an optimum course searching part 15 searches an optimum guide course connecting a final destination obtained so far and the new added destination by referring to map data stored on a CD-ROM 1 and stores it additionally to guide course data stored in a guide course memory 16 so far. In the subsequent travel in the course guiding mode, a map image drawing part 13 makes a specific course guidance connecting a current place and the newly added destination via the last destination by using the guide course data stored in the course guide memory 16. |
