摘要 PURPOSE: To reduce artifacts caused by Gibb's cutting processing without having an adverse effect on resolution, SNR, and scanning time by providing a means which optimizes the selection of filter characteristics and the non-objectification of sampling in a magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) system. CONSTITUTION: The reduction in the artifacts caused by Gibb's cutting is performed along the phase encoding direction for the purpose of reducing the scanning time. Next, obtained data are Fourier-transformed along the frequency encoding direction (26). The transformed data are filter-processed by multiplying a point (k) in each column by its filter function fk (27). The filter-processed data are objectified by composite connection along the column (29). Next, the data are Fourier-transformed along the column (31), and imaged (32). The image has resolution and SNR on the same level as that obtained with objectification sampling without the filter processing, and the overshoot can be sharply reduced.
