PURPOSE:To provide a traveling vehicle which is capable of ascending/ descending on the stair with less shocks, securing the traveling stability and demonstrating the excellent effect of the position holding when shopped or the like. CONSTITUTION:A traveling vehicle for ascending/descending is provided with a plurality of supporting arms 5 in an extended manner radially relative to an axle 4 to pivotably support a vehicle body, supports grounding wheels 6 at the tip of the respective supporting arms 5, and makes a constitution capable of,traveling over the difference in level by rotatably driving the respective supporting arms 5 around the axle center of the axle 4, and a driving mechanism 7 to drive and rotate the respective supporting arms 5 in an integrated manner around the axis of the axle 4, and at the same time, a braking mechanism 10 which is capable of fixedly locating of the respective supporting arms in an arbitrary rotational position. |
