The present invention relates to a device for supplying electricity by contact with a current-collecting shoe, as well as to a method of producing such a device. The device (1) includes an electrically conducting mounting body (2) coated, for the purpose of contact with the current-collecting shoe (6), with an electrically conducting wear film (3), comprising an electrically conducting material having a Vickers hardness at least equal to 1000 kg/mm<2> and a melting point at least equal to 2000@C.
