A multiplex transmission system according to the invention includes several multiplex nodes (11 to 15) connected together by means of a common multiplexed bus so as to perform data transfers between the nodes. When receiving nodes correctly receive data transmitted from one of the nodes for each frame, each of the receiving nodes returns an ACK signal to the multiplexed bus, records all the nodes connected to the multiplexed bus in the table of the ACKs in response to the ACK signal, and carries out management of the ACKs. In this case, for example, if a multiplex node (14) of a gate AvD causes an interruption in order to transmit a frame while a multiplex node (12) of an air conditioning unit is retransmitting a frame, the multiplex node of the air conditioning unit carries out management of the ACKs without considering the ACK signal relating to the interrupt frame as a subject of the update logic of its own table of the ACKs. <IMAGE>
