PURPOSE:To enhance accuracy of the filling of a bathtub with hot water so that a water level at the time of completion of filling the bathtub does not deviate from a preset water level in the case where the bathtub filling is done by using a water level sensor, which may cause a detection error according to a water temperature in the bathtub, in relation to a method of filling the bathtub, in which the filling operation can be done at a preset water level and at a preset temperature even in the case where residual cold water remains in the bathtub. CONSTITUTION:A method of filling a bathtub with hot water is done in such a way that hot water is supplied to the bathtub 2 up to a preset water level, while a water level in the bathtub is monitored by a water level sensor 41, and that the hot water supplied to the bathtub is additionally heated up to a preset temperature, while a temperature in the bathtub is monitored by a temperature sensor 40, thus the bathtub is filled with hot water at the preset water level and at the preset temperature. In the case where residual water remains in the bathtub 2 at the time of starting the filling operation, the residual water is adjusted to the preset temperature and, thereafter, hot water having the preset temperature is supplied from a heat exchanger 26 for feeding hot water to the bathtub 2 up to the preset water level. |
