PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioner wherein there is prevented a condenser and an intermediate base for guiding drain water produced by an evaporator of an air conditioner from making contact with each other and the drain water is fed to a drain pan. CONSTITUTION:Drain water collected on a water collecting pan 5 disposed on the lower part of an evaporator 3 is guided to the side of a condenser by an intermediate base 6 and flows down on the part 8a of a refrigerant discharge pipe 8 connected from a compressor 4 to the lower part of the condenser is located at a higher portion than the water collecting pan 5, and the lower end 8b of the refrigerant discharge pipe 8 is connected with the condenser through the inside of the drain pan 7 provided on the lower part of the condenser. A coupling tool 9 mounted on the intermediate base is coupled with and holds the refrigerant discharge pipe 8 located between the intermediate part 8a and the condenser. The coupling tool 9 allows drain water guided by the intermediate base 6 to flow thereinto and the drain water flows down to the drain pan 7 through the refrigerant discharge pipe 8 and hence the refrigerant discharge pipe 8 is effectually cooled. |
