Composite structure usable especially for repairing conduits, of the type consisting of a textile support comprising at least one fibrous sheet (7) consisting of noncontinuous fibres oriented randomly relative to one another, this being substantially in the plane of the said sheet, used in combination with reinforcing members (8) intended to give it mechanical characteristics, the said support being covered on at least one of its faces with a leakproof surface layer (2). It is characterised in that the reinforcing members (8) used in combination with the fibrous sheet have a structure such that they ensure a dimensional locking of the complex under a tensile stress in the lengthwise direction while permitting a certain deformation (or elongation) under the action of stresses exerted in the transverse direction.
