PURPOSE:To improve the conversion precision of the KANA(Japanese syllabary) to KANJI(Chinese character) conversion device. CONSTITUTION:A KANA pronounced character string is inputted from an input device and a KANA-KANJI conversion program performs KANA-KANJI conversion according to a basic dictionary. A rule retrieval program retrieves a rule matching the contents of a conversion result storage area in a rule dictionary. A rule rewriting program rewrites the contents of the corresponding conversion result storage area by referring to the rule dictionary and an inscription dictionary according to the matching rule. Then the contents of the conversion result storage area are outputted as a KANA and KANJI character string. |
