PURPOSE:To provide a system which inputs and converts natural language into a natural image. CONSTITUTION:This image editing device consists of a language image integrated dictionary 101 stores information on words, information on meaning relation between words, and image information, a grammar dictionary 102 stored grammatical rules, image editing rule 103, a language sentence analyzing means 108 which analyzes language sentences, an image retrieval means 109 which retrieves the image information, and an image editing means 110 which edits images. Therefore, when the contents of an image to be represented are inputted with natural language sentences to this image editing device, the input sentences are analyzed by using said means and the retrieval of an image required to represent meaning contents and the processing and composition of the retrieved image are automatically performed, so the image representing the contents of the input sentences is obtained. Further, when the obtained image is different from the image that a user requires, the image can be corrected. |
