PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device which controls even subtle hue change, when a multicolor image is formed on a transfer material on a transfer material carrying/transferring means by the use of plural image carriers, and forms a proper image. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device by which a multicolor image can be formed on a transfer material P on the transfer material carrying/transferring means 7 via plural image carriers 1 by means of multitransfer and by which a test density pattern K formed with specified-color toner is transferred on the transfer material carrying/transferring means 7 is provided with a control means 15 for properly controlling the image density in response to a signal from a density detecting means 33 for detecting the density pattern K. Therefore, the density of the image in each toner color is properly controlled, and a properly color-balanced image in which even subtle color change is controlled can be formed. |
