PURPOSE:To make it possible to estimate the magnetic characteristics after the magnetization at the stage of the raw material of a magnet by bringing an attracting- force generating magnet close to the raw material of the magnet before magnetization, and measuring the magnitude of the force under attraction in the raw material of the magnet. CONSTITUTION:A magnet raw material 10 is mounted on an upper table 6 and brought close to a permanent magnet 4. The force of attraction in the magnet raw material 10 caused by the permanent magnet 4 at the time of approach is measured. The magnet raw material 10 wherein the force under attraction is large has the poor magnetic characteristics after the magnetization. The weight of a measuring rod 3a, which is measured with a measuring device 3, is small for the large force under attraction. When the weight becomes smaller than a reference value, a NO lamp 13b of a display device 13 is lit meaning the magnet raw material 10 is no good. On the other hand, the weight of the measuring rod 3a, which is measured with the measuring device 3, becomes large for the small force under attraction. When the value is larger than the reference value, an OK lamp 13a of the display device 13 is lit meaning good. |
