LIQUID CRYSTAL ORIENTED FILM

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a liq. crystal oriented film excellent in rubbing operation by allowing the polyimide materials having a different skeleton to coexist to constitute the oriented film. CONSTITUTION:A polyamic acid obtained by polymerizing an acid anhydride consisting only of an aromatic skeleton and a diamine consisting practically of an aromatic skeleton and a polyamic acid obtained by polymerizing an acid anhydride consisting of an alicyclic skeleton and a diamine consisting practically of an aromatic skeleton are allowed to coexist in a soln., and the soln. is applied and thermally reacted to form an oriented film. Namely, the property of the oriented film formed from a polyamic acid obtained by polymerizing an acid anhydride consisting only of an aromatic skeleton and a diamine consisting practically of an aromatic skeleton and the property of the oriented film formed from a polyamic acid obtained by polymerizing an acid anhydride consisting of an alicyclic skeleton are improved by their coexistence.
