PURPOSE:To connect the cut places of a rubber crawler so as to reuse the rubber crawler by applying surface treatment such as buffing to the cut places of the rubber crawler, and press-curing the rubber crawler after disposing a steel cord arranged rubber sheet between a body layer and an outer peripheral layer. CONSTITUTION:In order to mend an endless belt rubber crawler cut in the width direction, a crawler body 1 is cut open circumferentially from the cut face K in a range of including at least three core metals 2, leaving a thin rubber layer (t) on the outer peripheral side of a steel cord 4. The crawler body 1 is separated into body layers 1a and outer peripheral layers 1b, and surface treatment such as buffing is applied to the cut faces K and cut-open faces L. An unillustrated steel cord arranged rubber sheet is then disposed on the respective cut-open faces L of both body layers 1a with the mutual cut faces K thereof set opposedly, and the outer peripheral layers 1b are disposed on the upper face thereof. The whole cut-open face L is then press-cured to connect the cut faces K of the crawler body 1 for the regeneration of the endless belt rubber crawler. |
