METHOD FOR SETTING PARTS CASSETTE

PURPOSE:To provide an efficient part setting up method for setting a part cassette of a part mounting machine by which electronic parts are mounted on printed circuit boards. CONSTITUTION:A corresponding table for part names to arrangement numbers of parts cassettes 3 is provided in a control device 7 of a mounting device. A bar code reader 8 connected to a control device 7 reads out the part name of a parts cassette 3 on which the part name is put with a bar code. A parts cassette setting position is displayed on a display device 9 with the corresponding table, and a parts cassette setting table 1 is moved to a proper parts setting up position 12.
