发明名称 PROTEIN AND NUCLEIC ACID DETECTION DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To detect a signal from horizontal or vertical direction by one detector by installing one or more mirrors between a migration plate and a detector. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 6 which is projected from a light source 4 is refracted by a mirror 5 and then impinges on a side surface of a gel 7 which is sandwiched by migration plates 1. A DNA fragment family 3 which was fluorescence-labeled is mounted on the migration gel 7 and then the fragment 3 starts to move toward a positive pole within the gel 7 when a voltage is applied. The fragment 3 emits light since a labeled fluorescent body is excited by the laser beam 6 when it reaches the laser beam 6. The luminous image is reflected by a mirror 8 which is installed at 45 deg. for a lens surface of a camera and the migration surface and then is transmitted to a two-dimensional detector 11 through a filter 9 and an image-forming lens 10. A signal of the luminous image is output as a data from an output device 13 through a signal-processing device 12. When performing measurement for a gel which already migrated or its plotting film 14, the mirror 8 is eliminated for receiving signal directly.
