PURPOSE:To improve filling properties and prevent fire spreading and smoke leakage by mixing a heat-absorbing refractory material which absorbs a large amt. of heat under heating, a thermally expandable refractory material, and a binder, and granulating the resulting mixture. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of a heat-absorbing refractory material which absorbs a large amt. of heat under heating, with a thermally expandable refractory material which expands in volume under heating, an aq. soln. or dispersion contg. a binder, and, if necessary, a shape retention agent and a thickener is granulated and dried to give the title filler having a particle size of 1-25mm. |
