<p>PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption of a sensing section without lowering answering efficiency of the sensing section by operating intermittently the sensing section in the case the human body is not sensed by the sensing section, and shortening a period of intermittent operation of the sensing section in the case the human body is sensed by the sensing section. CONSTITUTION:When a man is not in front of a urinalbowl, a multiplexer 3a3 selects a period 2t to project light at the period 2t from a flood-light element 2a. A one-shot circuit 3a7 without reflected light inputs pulse signals in a clear of a flip-flop 3a8. While, when a light receiving element 2b receives the reflected light even if it is once to detect, the existence of the user, a one- shot circuit 3a10 with the reflected light inputs the pulse signals in a set of the flip-flop 3a8. After that the flip-flop 3a8 outputs Hi-to an OR circuit 3a4, the multiplexer 3a3 is switched from the period 2t to a period (t) to project light at the period (t) from the flood-light element 2a. According to the constitution, the power consumption can be reduced without lowering answering efficiency of a sensing section.</p> |
