A constant pressure spring system particularly adapted for typewriter cartridges, clips, and hinges, has a V-shaped configuration and comprises first and second arms and a pair of coil springs, one of the coil springs pivotally receiving a fixed axle and extending from the first arm, and the other coil spring extending from the second arm. The spring system operates to maintain a substantially constant and limited load on the second arm when the first arm is moved within an angle up to 90 degrees. |
