PURPOSE: To operate automatic press contact in such a way as the length of one electric wire and the other electric wire are exactly changed freely and in a prescribed condition according to a working requirement during one cycle of a press contact in the length of plural insulated covered wires where ech terminal of a connector is press contacted with each of its right side and left side, or with its one side only with the other side cut off. CONSTITUTION: A right side connector R is moved to an original position after it is moved to a position for an automatic press contact and an insulated covered wire W1 -W3 is electrically connected with each terminal, then all electric wires are delivered to the lowest position against wire rewinding tension, and only the wires having the length between both ends of right and left sides are hold dependent on the length of wires delivered between press contact positions of the right side connector R and a left side connector L. Accordingly, a wire having the longest length between both ends of right and left sides is measured, then other wires are rewound to the second lowest position with wire rewinding tension, and a wire having the second longest length between the right and left ends is measured and after the lengths of all wires, are measured an insulated conductor of left side end of electric wire is press connected with each terminal of the left side connector L, or it is simply cut off under such a condition that all the wires are held. |
