发明名称 ORGANIC THIN FILM ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent luminous and carrier transport layers from being crystallized, make an electrode free from separation and ensure the long service life of a luminous element by equipping a cooling unit to cool and keep the element in low temperature state. CONSTITUTION:This organic thin film electroluminescent element 1 has an element body 10, and a heat pipe 20 as a cooling unit. The body 10 forms a transparent electrode 12 on a substrate 11, and on the electrode 12 are formed a hole transport layer 13, a luminous layer 14 and a magnesium electrode 15 respectively in order, thereby fabricating the element 1. Also, a pipe 20 can carry much heat with a small temperature difference, due to the evaporative condensation of heat media and the return thereof via capillary action. The element 1 is fitted to the cooing unit 21 of the pipe 20 and can be kept in low temperature state. According to this construction, the luminous layer 14 and carrier transport layer are not crystallized and electrode separation does not take place, thereby ensuring the long service life of the element 1.
