PURPOSE:To carry out electric power generation by effective use of liquefied natural gas, by compressing boil-off gas from the upper part of a tank for storing liquefied natural gas with a compressor, supplying it to a burner in a gas turbine, and driving a generator by the gas turbine. CONSTITUTION:Liquefied natural gas is stored in a tank 14. The boil-off gas generated from the upper part of the tank 14 are pressurized and heated by a compressor to be supplied to a burner 19 in a gas turbine 18. In the gas turbine 18, an air compressor 20 and a generator 21 are connected in series. The burning exhaust gas from the gas turbine 18 is led to an exhaust heat recovery boiler 23 to generate steam from a pipe line 24. In the exhaust heat recovery boiler 23, the water from a pipe line 25 is led to a preheating pipe 27 from a pump 26 to be heated and led to an evaporating tank 28. The steam generated at a steam water separation drum 28 passes through the pipe line 24 and drives a steam turbine 30, thus driving a generator 31. |
