<p>PURPOSE:To maintain favorable shapes of crown and sheet in sheet rolling by controlling so as to coincide a measured value with a calculated value of the optimum contact profile of work rolls and rolled stock. CONSTITUTION:Rolling conditions of sheet rolling on the inlet side, sheet rolling on the outlet side, width of sheet, kinds of steel, etc., are inputted to a rolling load predicting device 20 and rolling load Po and the optimum contact state Sref (X) of the rolls and rolled stock are predicted. These values are inputted to a target work roll profile computing element 21 and the output is outputted to a comparator 22. On the other hand, by comparing the outputted result with measured values that are detected with roll profile gages 13a, 13b and that outputted from an actual profile computing element 24, cooling water of roll coolant 12a, 12b in the direction of roll axis is controlled with a controller 23 and good shapes of crown and sheet is realized.</p> |
